Eileen Carolan died January 30, 2005 at her home. She was born August 18, 1925 to James and Honore Rowan Clarkin. On October 14, 1950 she married James Carolan. Since 1967 they have lived in Irvington. Eileen was formerly employed by the Westchester Arts Society in White Plains. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving is her husband James of Irvington, and her children, Stephen of Irvington, Mark of San Francisco, CA, Catherine Cohelan of San Anselmo, CA, James of Woodbridge, CT and Celia Nelson of Wilmette, Il, 5 grandchildren and her sister Margaret McCabe of Newport, RI, brother James Clarkin, San Diego, CA. Her sister Marie Lee of the Bronx, predeceased her. Funeral service 8:30pm Tuesday evening, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Visiting Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-8:30pm. Memorials to Phelps Hospice would be appreciated.
