Edith Ida Gagliano

Edith Ida Gagliano went home to God on January 28, 2005. She was born August 13, 1915 in NYC, daughter of Ralph and Sabina Ventola Spina. On September 4, 1939 she married Philip Gagliano in Our Lady of Pity Church. For many years they lived on the Grand Concourse, until moving to Yonkers in 1978. Philip died in 1979. She was a seamstress having made wedding gowns for the I.L.G.W.U in NYC, prior to her retirement. Edith is survived by her devoted son, Rev. Philip J. Gagliano, Pastor of Our Lady or Perpetual Help Church, Ardlsey, NY. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00 am Monday Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Visiting Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to Jansen Hospice would be appreciated.
