John W. Rudick

John W. Rudick, Jr., died January 21, 2005. He was born August 7, 1939 in Tarrytown, NY, son of John and Catherine Craig Rudick. He was a lifelong resident of Irvington. He retired from the Village of Irvington after 38 years of service working as a motor equipment operator. He was a member of the Irvington Volunteer Fire Dept. and had worked for many years as an attendant at the Hudson House. He loved tinkering with cars in his spare time. On Sept. 14, 1963 he married Gloria Morabito in St. Theresa's Church, North Tarrytown, she survives as do their two sons, John T. and Brian E. and his sister June Citarell, all of Irvington. Mass of the Resurrection 10 am Tuesday, Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to Sloan Kettering at Phelps Hospital, the Brandywine Nursing Home or the Cancer Support Team in Port Chester.
