RICKY WAYNE PETRY, 63, of St. Albans, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 30th, at CAMC Memorial after a brave battle with cancer. Rick was a dear friend to many, always met with a big smile and a kind word, he dearly loved his family and friends. Rick was a gifted athlete in his early years, playing baseball in little league, tennis at St. Albans High School, and as an excellent bowler in his adult life, racking up 13 perfect 300 games in league play throughout the Kanawha Valley. Rick is survived by mother, Maggie Petry, brothers Jeff Petry(Daughter Nicole, son-in-law Timmy Kalenak, and granddaughter Kylie, son Owen, ex-wife Lina Tichy, husband Bob, and her daughter Addison), Greg Petry(wife Patty, son Michael Shamblin, son Corey Petry and wife Ingrid) along with many Aunts and Uncles. Rick was preceded in death by father Arthur Petry and brother Michael. There will be no funeral services, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to the charity of your choosing.”
