Prairie du Sac/Plano, TX - Robert J Priebe Jr., age 73, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

He was born on July 3, 1949, in Madison, Wis., the son of Robert and Mercedes (Walch) Priebe.

After graduating from Sauk Prairie High School in 1967, he attended UW-River Falls.

Bob had an explorer mindset and, in his retirement, enjoyed traveling throughout the United States to various national parks and landmarks in his converted van where his Sirius was always tuned to "Classic Vinyl." He had a lifelong passion for knowledge and took pleasure in learning new skills and trades. In his free time, he enjoyed playing poker, pool, and golf. Bob was an avid follower of the Badgers and Packers and loved to call his mom when the games ended to celebrate or lament.

Bob is survived by his children, Rhiannon Rott and David (Priscilla) Priebe; grandchildren, Henri, Prairie, and Winifred; his sister, Carrie (Paul) Podehl; his brother, Jim (LeAnn) Priebe; and other relatives and many friends including his traveling buddy, Betty Boop (his cat.)

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Dederich.

A gathering celebrating Bob's life will be announced at a later date.
