<p>Cherie J. Watson, 71, of Houston, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 1, 2022, in her home.</p> <p>She was born October 7, 1950, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Edward and Anna Madosky Bonczek.</p> <p>Mrs. Watson was a 1968 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.</p> <p>She retired from Mayview State Hospital where she had worked as an aide.</p> <p>Cherie was a member of the White Eagles and PNU both in Canonsburg and American Legion Post #902 in Houston.</p> <p>She enjoyed gardening, cooking, socializing and camping in Erie.</p> <p>On May 8, 1974, she married James T. Watson who survives.</p> <p>Also surviving are a daughter, Megan Watson (Justin Mitchell) of Washington; a son, Robert Watson (Rachael) of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, E&rsquo;lynn Watson and Lennox Watson-Mitchell; two sisters, Tanya Few and Billie Bedillion (Dude) both of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Deceased in addition to her parents are a daughter, Erica Watson; two sisters, Barbara Rieger and Myra Bonczek; and two brothers, Ronald and Edward Bonczek.8&nbsp;</p> <p>At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.</p> <p>Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.</p>

Cherie J. Watson, 71, of Houston, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 1, 2022, in her home.

She was born October 7, 1950, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Edward and Anna Madosky Bonczek.

Mrs. Watson was a 1968 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.

She retired from Mayview State Hospital where she had worked as an aide.

Cherie was a member of the White Eagles and PNU both in Canonsburg and American Legion Post #902 in Houston.
