Canadia Lynn Hurt, 43, of Sellersburg, IN, passed away at University of Louisville Hospital on July 23, 2022, at 10:04 AM. Canadia was born on May 13, 1979, in Louisville, KY to Eula New who survives in Scottsburg, IN and Forster Ray Hurt who preceded her in death. Canadia was a member of Zoah Christian Church, she was employed at Startek in Jeffersonville, IN for many years. When she wasn't working she was doing what she loved the most, couponing. She also loved, photography, making people laugh, and most of all, spending time with her only child Jaden Cooper. She was always willing to put other people before herself, she truly loved helping people. Survivors include her mother Eula New, her only child Jaden Cooper of Sellersburg, IN, siblings Susan (Brad) Arthur of Vincennes, IN, Ronnie (Karla) Hurt of Scottsburg, IN, Calvin Hurt of Shepherdsville, KY, and numerous nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Forster Ray Hurt, and her grandmother Corsa Canadia New. Pastor Terry Eversole will conduct a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Scottsburg, IN.
