Otto Hoover Dobbs

<p>Otto Hoover Dobbs, 94, died peacefully on Monday morning, July 25, 2022 at Nashua Crossings. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeannine (Eaton) Dobbs who predeceased him on November 20, 2020.</p> <p>Otto was born in Dora, Missouri, on July 17, 1928, and was the son of the late Elmer &ldquo;EJ&rdquo; and Esta (Ballinger) Dobbs. He attended schools in the Missouri School System and furthered his higher education attending and graduating with his bachelor&#39;s degree in math.</p> <p>He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged.</p> <p>For many years, he was employed as an engineer at BAE Systems until his retirement.</p> <p>In his free time, Otto had the epitome of a green thumb. Creating and maintaining the most beautiful flowers and fruit garden in his yard which he took great pride in. He also loved to travel with his late wife, Jeannine, to various destinations across the world.</p> <p>Otto is survived by his sister and his niece and nephew of Missouri, as well as many dear friends who have become his family.</p> <p>Relatives and friends are invited to Otto&rsquo;s graveside service on FRIDAY, August 5th at 11 AM in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow.</p>

So sorry for your loss. My uncle who was raised in Dora area passed away yesterday he went to Dora High School sure he knew Hoover. Joe and Molly Dobbs were his great aunt and uncle. Ed and Bertha Ballinger were friends of my grandparents. Prayers for you all.
