Ronald 'Ron" Paider

Ron L. Paider, 70, of Denmark passed away peacefully July 31, 2022. Born in Green Bay on August 25, 1951, to the late Benedict and Marie (Selner) Paider. He was the fourth of eight children and was raised on the family farm. Ron graduated Denmark High School, Class of 1969, then attended Short Course at UW Madison afterward returning home to farm with his father. Through friends, Ron met his wife of almost 45 years, Mary (Micksch) and together they raised their two sons along with Registered dairy cattle on the farm that celebrated the Century status on August 9, 2005. Active in the community Ron was a 4H leader for 46 years, a honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus #4735, on the board of the Holstein Breeders, DHIA testing, was a communion distributor and usher at St. Lawrence Church. Ron was a member of the FFA Alumni, and served two terms on Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors. Ron always enjoyed a good game of Sheepshead with family and friends and enjoyed (maybe more) a Southern Comfort Old Fashioned sour with olives. Ron is survived by his wife Mary; sons Andy (Amelia Bemis) and Jake (Melanie) Paider; as well as six siblings Rosie (Lyle) Bonlander, Tom (Linda) Paider, Jo Ann (Bill) Krueger, Steve (Patti) Paider, Sandy (Dennis) Duckett and Jerry Paider. Ron is further survived by many special nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and a lot of great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ben and his wife Lynn, and several members of Mary’s family. Ron’s family would like to express a very special thank you to Odd Fellows Home of Green Bay and the Scandinavian Court in Denmark for all the special care, love and support given to Ron and our family during his illness. Your kindness will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ron’s name. Visitation will take place Thursday August 4, 2022, from 4pm until 7:15pm at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark with a prayer service at 7:30pm, Visitation will then continue Friday August 5, 2022, at St. Therese Catholic Church (N2085 County Rd. AB Stangelville) from 9am to 10:45am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, with Father Dennis Drury officiating. There will be a private family entombment at Nicolet’s Shine of the Good Shepard Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
