Ronnie Morris, 71, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Seui officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Dawson Springs, KY he was born April 1, 1951 the son of the late William Ray Morris and Virginia Arlene Reynolds Morris Langston. He was retired from the United States Army and was also the owner and operator of Morris Painting & Home Repair. He was also a former owner of Roundies. He was a member of the Christian Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Lois Parker; and his brothers: Terry Morris and Tommy Langston. Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Vicky Durham Morris; his daughter: Rhonda Elaine (Greg) Abner of Hopkinsville, KY; his son: Jason (Christina) Morris of Crofton, KY; his brothers: Tyrone (Kathy) Morris of Momence, IL, Danny Morris of Cocoa, FL, and Ricky (Shawn) Langston of Hopkinsville, KY; his sister: Jean Hale of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: J.B. Hendricks, Jacob Abner, Micah Morris, and Eli Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
