<p>Lorraine Wozniak<br /> August 16, 1928 - July 31, 2022&nbsp;</p> <p>Lorraine Wozniak, 94, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 8:56 pm.</p> <p>Mass of Christian burial&nbsp; will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana with&nbsp; Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 8:30 AM -9:30 AM, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.</p> <p>She was born August 16, 1928 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Maxmillian and Bernice (Gytka) Podgorski. On April 28, 1984 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Chester Wozniak who preceded her in death on November 14, 2020.&nbsp; Surviving are daughter, Catherine Yagelski of Michigan City, Indiana; son, David (Jean) McLachlan of Michigan City, Indiana; six grandchildren, Jill (Dan) Branham, Josh (Beth) McLachlan, Justin (Jennifer) McLachlan, Nicholas (Sarah) Yagelski, Allison Yagelski and Danielle McLachlan along with seven great-grandchildren;&nbsp; brother, Arthur Podgorski of Bradenton, Florida; She was preceded in death by two sons, James McLachlan, Daniel&nbsp; McLachlan; twin sister, Loretta Curtis and a&nbsp; brother, Gerald Podgorski;&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Lorraine was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and a life member of the&nbsp; St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality.&nbsp; She retired from Fastener, Mfg Michigan City, Indiana as clerical worker.&nbsp; She was a talented seamstress having taught her family how to sew.&nbsp; She enjoyed baking, especially her appreciated &quot;apple pie&quot;! She lived an amazing life, spending time with her family and was the magnet of any gathering with a laugh that could light up the room.</p> <p>Contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Association 501 Marquette St. Valparaiso, IN 46383 or to the Alzheimer&#39;s Services of Northern Indiana P.O.
