Daunley Lawrence Jones, 80, of Elkview went to his heavenly home, Thursday, July 30, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his son, Dale Jones; parents, Quentin Jones & Martha Moles Jones Rucker; grandparents, Emory & Lessie Moles, and Rob & Rosa Jones.

He is survived by Marvine McQuillen; Justin (Pam) McQuillen; brother, Ron (Martha) Jones; nephew, Jeff (Karen) Jones; nieces, Gail (Scott) Keeling and Jeannie (Frank) Young; six great nephews & nieces; four great-great nieces; and step mother, Doris Jones.

Daunley was a loving companion, brother, uncle, and friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed camping, fishing tournaments, and country music. He was employed by Moles Dozer Services, U.S. Mail Service for Charlie Ward, Cook Motor Lines, Concept Motor Lines, and was a member of the Knights of the Python Lodge.

A service will begin 2pm, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Art Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at the Rob Jones Cemetery, Cooper's Creek.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
