REGGIO, Yvonne (Zalloni), age 91, of Wayne, formerly of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Yvonne was born in Izmir, Turkey to Francesco and Marian (Pepitone) Zalloni. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Raimondo. They had shared 61 wonderful years of marriage together. Yvonne and Raimondo were blessed with 3 children. She embraced her role as a loving and devoted mother. She had a riches to rags (World War 2) to Cinderella story that took her from Turkey to Italy, to Montreal, Canada and finally Ridgewood, Franklin Lakes, and Wayne, New Jersey. We are so proud of her for her ability to speak four languages fluently, her bright mind and her PhD in being a domestic goddess. She loved her family so much and lived for us all, especially her 6 grandkids & 7 (almost 8) great grandkids. Yvonne was a dedicated parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Franklin Lakes. Yvonne also volunteered her time at the Glen School in Ridgewood, NJ as an assistant librarian. Yvonne was a devoted and hardworking wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Loving mother to Christine Selim and her husband Michael of Oakville, Ontario, Robert Reggio and his wife Gina of Oakland, and Corinne Connelly and her husband John of Franklin Lakes. Adoring grandmother of Dr. Adrien Selim and his wife Vanessa, Dr. Natalie Bailey and her husband Sean, Nicole Hirsch and her husband John, Joseph Reggio and his wife Katie, and Cara and Noelle Connelly. Devoted great grandmother to Zachary, Lola, Noah, Wilder, Osborne, Oliver, and James.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral service to be held immediately after visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
