Martha Haskowich Obituary

Martha Haskowich (Moore) 86, on July 29, 2022 of Pequannock, NJ. Martha had lived in Pequannock with her husband since 1968. She was a former member of Hawthorne Gospel Church.

Grandma Martha spent her time serving the Lord in many different ways. One of those ways was helping with her granddaughter's business, Jars of Hope. Jars of Hope sells necklaces that help fight human trafficking and Grandma Martha helps create the packaging for the necklaces.

Every single day she would punch hearts out of scrapbook paper and hand pick the colors to go in each pouch for the jars to be distributed. When someone received a necklace they knew that those hearts were made with love and for the glory of the Lord.⠀ It was such a joy to be able to hear her say, “You know Jenn, this has become the highlight of my day - I get to sing to Jesus while I work and even do this in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep. It gives me so much purpose and I am happy to do this for you and the Lord.”⠀

Martha was the beloved wife of Richard Haskowich who passed away in 2011. Devoted mother of Nancy Tartini and her husband Richard, Fran Lombardi and her husband Tony and Anne Pensworth and her husband David. Loving grandmother to Daniel, Drake and Joel Pensworth; Nicole and Cristina Tartini and Jennifer Olsen. Great-grandmother to Raylan and Desmond. Also survived by her brothers Thomas Daniel and David Moore

The family will visit with family and friends on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00PM at the Vander Plaat Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Rd., Franklin Lakes, NJ, 07417. A funeral service will follow after visitation at 7:00 PM.
