Roger Evans Arthur, 79 of Ashland, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Roger was born June 17, 1943, in Ironton, Ohio to the late Hebert and Lucille Evans Arthur. He retired from Ak Steel where he worked in Production Planning. He was a member of the Bridges Christian Church and Ashland Elks BPOE #350. Roger enjoyed drag racing and horse racing. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter. Roger leaves behind his loving wife of almost 52 years Linda Springer Arthur; his daughter Lisa Arthur of Hilliard, Ohio; along with a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Kevin Fraley, Minister officiating. Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood has been entrusted with the services.
