Edith Longmore

Edith "Edie" Snedden Longmore, 64, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Monday July 25, 2022 at her residence. She was born in DuBois, PA on March 6, 1958 a daughter of the late Leeland and Lillian Harvey Snedden.<br><br>Edie graduated from Tech Memorial High School and worked at Elby's Big Boy for 20 years. Most recently, she worked at AVI Food Service. She loved animals.<br><br>In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean and Keith Snedden.<br><br>Survivors include her husband, James Longmore, and many dear friends and extended family members.<br><br>Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.<br><br>In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16511 or Because You Care Inc., 6041 W Rd, McKean, PA 16426.<br><br>Please visit www.SchmidtFuneralHomeErie.com to sign the Book of Memories.<br><br>
