Adam Nael Madhat, 27, passed away July 25, 2022. Adam was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew.  He carried the light and soul of his family in his heart. He was a joy to be around, always caring and looking out for his sisters, nieces and nephew.

A proud veteran of the US Army, Adam was born in Akron and attended both Green Schools and Akron Public Schools.  He worked in sales for Verizon.

Adam is survived by his parents, Heather and Nael Madhat; grandparents, Cindy (Danny) Meadows and Michael Kelly (Joanne Burns) (Anna Kelly); sisters, Jacqueline Hassoun (Pauly Carlisle), Selena Madhat (Malik Saunders), Nadia Madhat; nieces, Jaslena, Nyla, Maliana Araya and Harmony; nephew,Tony; aunts, Sherry (Chuck) Neubert, Kathy (Ernie) Smith, Sarah Kelly, Kim (Danny) Zrioka, Naela Madhat (Tareef), Iman Madhat (Imad), Intisar Madhat, Yusra Madhat, and Musira Madhat; uncles, Saber (Sameera) Madhat, Wael (Sana) Madhat, Mohammad (Nahla) Madhat, and Mahmoud (Amal) Madhat; true friends Sir Charles Travis and Chris Harvey and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Christopher Adam Knight and Waleed Abu-Neemeh; grandparents Ahmad and Fareedeh Madhat, and best friend Javon Knaff (aka Pooder).

Even in their sorrow, the family is grateful and appreciative for the contribution Adam was able to make in the lives of others during his short time on earth. He has impacted us, and he has made the world better by his presence.

Adam will be remembered for his smile, quick wit and sense of humor. His family will forever cherish the time they had with him and are thankful that he knew his Lord and Savior.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 2 at 12:30 p.m.  Grandmother Cindy Meadows will be officiating.  

Burial with military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273.
