<p>Flora Dalton, 84, of Catlettsburg, KY, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.</p> <p>Flora was born November 3, 1937, in Lincoln, WV, to the late Reverend Carlos and Eliza Watts Vance.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Flora was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Mullins, her grandson, Brandon Matthew McKenzie, her nephew, Steve Kinser and her niece, Carla Jo Workman Jones.</p> <p>Flora was of Baptist faith and loved being a wife, mother, granny and great granny. She enjoyed sitting on the porch swinging or sitting in her glider watching the kids play. She also enjoyed reading, bowling, and crocheting.</p> <p>Surviving Flora is her husband of 60 years, Pete Dalton and their three daughters, Robin Dalton of Catlettsburg, Kammra (Kenny) Hemmann of Ashland, Beulah McKenzie of Ashland, one brother, George Vance (Nioka) of Kistler, WV., three sisters, Evelyn Kinser of Peytona, WV., Carry Vance of Peytona, WV., Ruth Workman (Eddie) of Seth, WV. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kimberly (Jon) Napier, Ashley (Spencer) Williams, Kathryn &ldquo;Katie&rdquo; Hemmann, one great granddaughter, Abygail &ldquo;Abby&rdquo; Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend Barb Hardy.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Chapmanville with Elder AJ Williamson officiating.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 9:00PM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Chapmanville. Burial will follow funeral services in the Dalton Cemetery in Harts, WV.</p> <p>Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.</p>
