Norman David Irwin of Strathclair, Manitoba passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022 at Minnedosa hospital at the age of 77.

Norman was born April 24, 1945 to William Jackson and Edna Irwin of Solsgirth, Manitoba. He attended school in Solsgirth, Birtle and received his barber's license in Winnipeg. He then worked in multiple western Manitoba towns as a barber. On July 2, 1965, he married the love of his life, Doris. They moved to Inglis, Manitoba, opened a barber and beauty salon and started a family. Within a year they moved to Foxwarren and purchased the barber shop and pool hall. He worked many odd jobs during the day and worked in the evening as a barber.

In the fall of 1969, Norman moved the family to Winnipeg and started working at Motor Coach Industries for the next 30 years. Then retired and moved to Strathclair where he resided for the last 21 years.

Norman was predeceased by his parents, William Jackson and Edna Irwin and brothers Joe (Fern), Ted (Louise), Tom, Bob (Inez) and brothers-in-law Rudy & Murray. Left to cherish memories, his wife Doris, his daughters; Shannon Tomiski, Shellie Courchaine, Donna (Ron) Sarrasin and Leann (Kirk) Bartlett. His grand children; Jonathan (Janelle), Bradley (Danae), Kelly (Lindsay), Kyle (Violeta), Nicole (Josh), Philippe (Kirsten), Eric (Alyssa), Johanna (Tristan) and Adam (Hannah). Great grand children; Lennon and Gabriel. His siblings; Allan (Pat) Irwin, Flo Sharpe, Alice (Gordon) Malkoske and Jack (Myret) Irwin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
