Regina Margret Racinskas-Grimm Obituary

Racinskas-Grimm, Regina “Gene”
Born Dec 29th, 1964, in Montreal, daughter of the late Geraldine and Juozas Racinskas. She lived in Waterloo until relocating to Ayr 15 years ago. She passed away on July 24, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with throat cancer. She did not go gently in the night. Resilient and feisty, she tried to conquer cancer with grace.
She had a lust for life and traveled when she could, Asia, South America, Caribbean, Europe and North Africa. She enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
An existentialist, she would always question inequalities. Gene was gregarious by nature and approachable, her cheery disposition would brighten any room. Her talents were put to great use in the staffing industry. Gene enjoyed her work and motivating people. She left her little part of the world a better place. All life is precious, “Carpe Diem” was her motto.
She is survived by her soulmate Phil and her fur monsters, Albert, Ben, Peter, Pipsqueak, Muffin and Gizmo.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Friday July 29, 2022, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Due to Covid concerns, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation to follow.
Donations to the SPCA would be appreciated. Online condolences and donations may be arranged through www.wmkippfuneralhome.com or by contacting WM. Kipp 519 632 8228
Rest in peace my precious, the pain is over.
