Kim George Williams

Kim George Williams, the son of George and Gayle (Perron) Williams was born on October 4, 1954 in Mohall, North Dakota. He died at the age of 67 years on Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home in Towner, North Dakota under the care of his family and hospice. Kim was raised in his mother’s home with his three siblings in Mohall. He attended school in Mohall and graduated, the class of 1972. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, made a career in the Navy and was stationed all over the world. He married Corrine Allen and together, they had two children, Jessica and Michael. They later, ended their marriage. Kim was stationed in San Diego and met Janice Vaillancourt, who was also in the military. The couple was later married on August 6, 1983 in Hawaii. They were stationed in Japan and blessed with two more children, Nichole and Ian to complete their family of four children. He retired after 21 years of service. After his retirement in the Navy, he went to work for Burlington Northern as a second career. That also brought him to many locations and retiring from Burlington after 22 years, he and Janice moved and settled in Towner. He was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2021 and put up a good fight until the end. Kim loved the beach and anywhere there was an ocean, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, napping when he could, Fox news and loved food, especially grilling. He was true to his military background, everything was punctual and on time with dinner promptly at 6:00 p.m. He was blessed with a great family, siblings he enjoyed, a wife he loved and children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him and spending time with all of them was everything to him. He was proud of his family and will be forever missed and loved. Kim is survived by his wife, Janice of Towner; children, Jessica (Mike) Fino of Carlsbad, California, Michael Williams of New York, New York, Nichole (Trent) Livedalen of Towner and Ian Williams of Sherwood; grandsons, Ethan, Max, Jaydon, Fynn, Lennon and Kwan; his mother, Gayle Williams of Mohall; siblings, Robyn Williams of Lansford, Kelli Williams (Donavon Lider) of Antler and Jamie (Lori) Williams of Mohall; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George; grandparents, Mable and Wilfred Perron; uncles and aunt, Dallas and Jean Perron and Boyd Perron. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Towner with military honors to follow. Father Michael Schommer. Dinner will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Gallow’s in Towner. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services at the funeral home and time for fellowship after the service at the Gallow’s.
