<p>Robert G. Reed</p> <p>Age 80, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022.&nbsp; He was born Jan. 10, 1942 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Dewey and Evelyn (Tucci) Reed, and was a life resident.&nbsp; Bob was a 1961 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and retired in June of 2000 from The Timken Co. after 37 years of service.&nbsp; He was a member of the Fellowship of the Little Country Church, Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432, Carroll Lodge #124, F. &amp; A.M., the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, and Golden Lodge No. 1123 United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO.&nbsp; He enjoyed drag racing into his 70&rsquo;s at Magnolia Drag Strip.&nbsp; Bob honorably served in the U. S. Army from 1961-63 in Germany, and traveled throughout Europe playing football for the Army. &nbsp;Following active duty he served in the National Guard.</p> <p>&nbsp;In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Larry Reed, a brother-in-law, John Broucker and a sister-in-law, Jan Broucker.&nbsp; Bob is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. (Broucker) Reed, with whom he celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on June 19th, two daughters, Tammie (John) Hatalla and Chantil (Bob) Frederick, his three grandchildren, Logan Frederick, Jordan Frederick, and Jenna Hatalla, his sister, Kandis Reed, three sisters-in-law, Connie Reed, Judi Reed, and Antonietta Broucker, and a brother-in-law, Frank Broucker, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Ted Knapp officiating.&nbsp; Friends may call one hour before the service on Friday from 10-11 a.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery with Military Honors.&nbsp; Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com</p> <p>Gordon (330) 866-9425</p>

Robert G. Reed
