Maxine F. Sweeney

<p>Maxine F. Sweeney, 94, of&nbsp; Harrison Twp.&nbsp;passed away on Monday, July 25th, while in the company of family, at Wexford Healthcare Center. Maxine was born in Freeport&nbsp;on April 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Helen E. (Metzler) and Frank Bures, Sr. She was the widow of Delbert D. &quot;Mike&quot; Sweeney, who passed in 2002. Maxine worked for 23 years as an office manager for her brother&#39;s businesses, Bures Ford and Lee-Way Rental. She retired in 1990. Maxine enjoyed traveling, crafts, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of United Presbyterian Church of Freeport. Maxine is survived by her son, Michael C. &amp; Joan Sweeney, of Allison Park. Two daughters, Sally Greiser, of Buffalo Twp. and Susan &amp; Gary Cipa, of Blandon, PA; Grandchildren, Wayne &amp; Diana II, R. Michael &amp; Jodi Greiser, Zachary A. Cipa and Emily &amp; Aaron Thompson. Great grandchildren, Kaylin, Michael, Laiken, Oaklie, Eastyn and Ava. Maxine is also survived by her brother, R. Lee &amp; Katherine Bures, of the Saxonburg. Maxine is preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Gaudio. Brothers, Frank Bures, Jr., Ronald Bures and her son in law, Wayne Greiser. Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 28th from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. Funeral service will be held Friday July 29th at 1 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Adam Clever officiating.</p>
