Jack Watson "Jackie" Lunsford, Jr, 76, of Anderson SC, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022. Born on January 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Jack Watson Lunsford Sr and Thelma Inez Floyd Lunsford. He worked at Fiberglass for 53 years until his retirement in 2019. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Buckie Johnson Lunsford; children: Glenn “Rip” Lunsford (Melanie) of Elberton, Wendy Gambrell (Tony) of Pendleton, Kristie Brock (Stephen) of Pendleton, Haley Lunsford of Anderson, and Jack Lunsford III (Dawn) of Anderson; grandson of the home, Gavin; grandchildren: Braden (Mackenzi), Bryce (Jessica), Amber, Amethyst, Eren, Caleb, Carrigon, Mataley, Aiden, Lexi, Jace, and Camille; great-grandchildren: Kason, Willow, Graelyn, Tylynn, Harlyn, and Kyclynn; as well as two great-grandchildren on the way; sister: Peggy Ann Tiller of Winterville; and brother: Ricky Lunsford “Lynn” of Dewy Rose. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister: Retha Turman. Jackie loved breakfast at Valarie’s, lunch at Jackie’s Starr Mart, Thursday poker nights at Shady Lady, and any and all “junk” stores. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4pm to 6pm at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or donations in his memory can be sent to the Habitat for Humanity, 210 South Murray Ave. Suite B, Anderson SC 29624.
