Jimmy C. Vandersaul

<p>Jimmy Vandersaul age 79, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 2:19 am on Tuesday July 26, 2022, at Miller&rsquo;s Merry Manor, Warsaw.&nbsp; Born on June 30, 1943, in Wolf Lake, IN, &nbsp;he was the son of Marion and Nellie (Gray)Vandersaul.</p> <p>Jimmy attended Larwill High School and graduated with the Class of 1961.&nbsp; On June 17, 1973, he married Eva Louise Sollenberger in Muncie, IN.</p> <p>Jimmy farmed and ran a dairy operation, while he worked for 19 years at Dana Corporation, Columbia City until his retirement in 2006.&nbsp; He was an avid Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and I.U. Basketball fan.&nbsp; Jimmy was a member of Warsaw Church of God and enjoyed driving around looking at all the local farmland.</p> <p>Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Louise Vandersaul of Columbia City; nephews Jeff Vandersaul of Churubusco and Jody (Jan) Vandersaul of St. Louis, MO, Jamie (Tina) Vandersaul and Mike (Michele) McCoy, of Columbia City; nieces Janette (Greg) Sauers and Dawn McCoy of Columbia City and Jerilyn Simpson of Springdale, AR; sister JoAnn McCoy of Columbia City; 3 sister-in-laws; 2 brother-in-laws.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Vandersaul, brother-in-law Roger McCoy, and sister-in-law Janice Vandersaul.</p> <p>Friends may call from 12:00-2:00 pm on Friday July 29, 2022, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.</p> <p>Funeral services for Jimmy will be held immediately following at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.</p> <p>Burial in Eberhard Cemetery, Columbia City.</p> <p>Memorial contributions in memory of Jimmy may be made to Yellow Creek Lake Campground.</p> <p>Visit www.demoneygrimes.com&nbsp; to send family online condolences.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Jimmy Vandersaul age 79, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 2:19 am on Tuesday July 26, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  Born on June 30, 1943, in Wolf Lake, IN,  he was the son of Marion and Nellie (Gray)Vandersaul.
