Sheena Diane Seal

Sheena Diane Seal, age 72, passed away on July 24, 2022 in Hattiesburg, MS.

Sheena was born and raised in Steephollow community of Pearl River County. She resided in the Progress Community of Pearl River County. Sheena loved planting and gardening, making her famous potato salad and biscuits. She loved family gatherings for whatever the occasion was.

Sheena was employed by Movie Star, Fred’s Dollar Store for numerous years, and a Correctional Officer with the Pearl River County Sheriff's Office in Millard, she retired years later. Sheena was preceded in death by her spouse, Larry Joe Seal of Poplarville, MS; her mother, Agnes Shaw Nelson; step-father, Paul Nelson; her father, Ledrew “Blackie” McCollum; her sister-in-law, Pasty Ruth Ladner McCollum; brother-in-law, Andrew “Andy” Jackson Ellis; sister-in-law, Joyce Ladner; and step-brother, Chester Nelson.

Sheena is survived by her two sons, Joseph Larry “Joe” Seal, Frankie Ladner Seal, and Roger “Dale” Seal, Regina West Seal, Anita Coole Seal; siblings, Charles Ricky McCollum, Sharon Jean McCollum Carroll and Paul Shannon Nelson, Deidra Ladner Nelson; step siblings, Pellie Nelson Parker “Carlton” and Roger “Buck” Nelson “Cathy”; grandchildren, Ashley Cuevas “Cody”, Brooke Tanner “Steven”, Nikki Seal, Alexis

Davis “Jessie”, Brianne Farace “Brennon”, Ethan Burge, Dalena Seal “Randy”, and Skyeler Breland; great-grandchildren, Kiley, Maddie, Waylon, Emmit, Rhett, Rosie, Norah, West, and Kimber Diane; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Davis, Steven Tanner, Brennan Farace, Ethan Burge, Randy Rawls, and Skyeler Breland.

Services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., and funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian. Burial will follow at Seal Family Cemetery in Poplarville.
