Mr. Clyde J. Marsh, 80, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, in his home. Born March 21, 1942, in Buckhannon, WV, he was the son of the late George “Duffy” Marsh and Della Belle (Anderson) Marsh Tenney He and his wife of over 58 years, Margaret (Coe) Marsh, were married on November 15, 1963. Mr. Marsh worked as a self-employed contractor. Clyde found it easy to make connections with anyone he met, quickly turning strangers into friends. He had a great sense of humor and a generous heart, always willing to do whatever he could to help someone in need. He enjoyed working on cars, coon hunting, collecting antiques and above all, spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is survived by five children: James “Jim” Marsh (Brenda), Fayetteville, PA, Richard “Rick” Marsh (Dena), Fairfield, PA, Leonard Marsh (Spring), Waynesboro, PA, Vicki Marsh-Shriner (Trevor), Fayetteville, PA, and Brian Marsh (Tiff), Biglerville, PA; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Marsh, Jacquie Marsh, Richard “Ricky” Marsh, Jr., Leonard Marsh, Jr., Sara Gallagher, James “Lil Jim” Marsh, Jr., LeeAnn Marsh, and Oakley Marsh; nine great-grandchildren: Owen, Kane, Daunte, Jayden, Ariella, Adalynn, Paisley, Jacob, and Madilynn; five siblings: Hellen Hutchinson (Tom), Berkeley Spring, WV, Linda Paugh (Clarence), Thomas, WV, Hazel Maloney (Bill), Fayetteville, NC, Loretta Jo Lucas, Mineral Wells, WV, and Brenda Wyatt (Rick), Buckhannon, WV; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Marsh; his sisters, Shirley Buckley and Twana Tenney; his brother-in-law, Richard Lucas; and his step-father, Garcie Tenney.
