<p>&nbsp;LeAnn Kay Higdon, 44, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Major Hospital.</p> <p>&nbsp; She was born May 24, 1978 in Shelbyville to James Higdon and Darlene Scroggham Higdon.</p> <p>&nbsp;LeAnn was employed at Shares Inc., for 24 years.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was a 1998 graduate of Shelbyville High School. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She was an attendee of The First Christian Church in Monticello, Kentucky.</p> <p>LeAnn loved everyone. She also loved country music, going to restaurants, shopping and collecting memorabilia such as Disney VCR and DVD&rsquo;s and dolphins. She received gold medals in the Special Olympics for swimming.</p> <p>&nbsp;We loved our journey with her. She was our ray of sunshine.</p> <p>She is survived by her sister, Desiree Higdon, brother, James T. Higdon, uncle, Bobby Scroggham, aunt Sherry (Jim) Redd, uncle, Terry Redd, aunt, Rita Hutcherson, two nephews, Isiah Higdon, and Andrew Wells.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by Curtis and Leona Drake, George and Sis Higdon, Chris and Jacqueline Scroggham, her grandparents, uncles, Roger Higdon, and Chris Scroggham,&nbsp;aunts, Jacqueline Redd and Christina Kay Scroggham.</p> <p>&nbsp; Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.</p> <p>&nbsp;Funeral services will follow at the funeral home.</p> <p>&nbsp; Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Garden.</p> <p>&nbsp; Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve LeAnn&rsquo;s family.</p> <p>&nbsp; Online condolences may be shared at www.murphyparks.com</p>

 LeAnn Kay Higdon, 44, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Major Hospital.

  She was born May 24, 1978 in Shelbyville to James Higdon and Darlene Scroggham Higdon.

 LeAnn was employed at Shares Inc., for 24 years. 

She was a 1998 graduate of Shelbyville High School.
