Lorraine M. Casamento

Lorraine M. Casamento, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022. Lorraine was born in Utica, NY and was a longtime resident of Ringwood for over 50 years. Prior to having her family, Lorraine was a Flight Attendant with Mohawk Airlines. She was an active member of St. Mary’s RC Church of Pompton Lakes and participated in the choir and played the bells during the service. Lorraine loved crafts and was an avid gardener.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of Charles Casamento for 47 years. She was the devoted mother to Dane Casamento, his wife Jennifer; cherished grandmother of Brooke and Evan Casamento. She also leaves behind her sister Diana Capirci and her brother Robert Feketa & his wife Leota. Nieces Cindy Salas(Emmett), Melissa Perez(Fabian), Diana Capirci & Nephew Mark Capirci.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 28, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Rd., Franklin Lakes, NJ, 07417. Lorraine’s funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Pompton Ave., Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442. Cremation will be private.
