Wallace Randall "Wally" Goode, 67, of Flat Rock passed away peacefully at MHP Medical Center on July 24, 2022. He was born in Liberty, Kentucky on February 24, 1955 to William Jasper "Babe" Goode and Hester Mae Byrd. He married Vicki Brown (Goode) on May 4, 1981 and she survives.

Other survivors include children: John (Tara) Goode of Flat Rock, Jesse (Yanelly) Goode of Shelbyville; and Amy Goode of Flat Rock. He is also survived by a granddaughter that he helped raise, Maliah Goode of Flat Rock. His surviving siblings include Jerry Goode of Shelbyville; William Goode of Shelbyville, Dolly Clements of Kentucky, Lester Goode of Kentucky, and Dee Salyers of Kentucky and nine grandchildren. Wally was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Donnie, John, and Curtis Goode. 

He was a lifetime resident of this area, attending Southwestern High School. He retired from Knauf Fiberglass, retiring in 2018 after 41 years of dedicated service. Wally loved the great outdoors, fishing, trapping, hunting, and gardening but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home, 106 E. Franklin St, St. Paul, on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 6:00 PM with visitation from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.  Burial will be held at Van Pelt Cemetery at a later date.
