John M. Connors, age 75, of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Beloved husband of 50 years to Katherine Mullaney Connors. Devoted father of Benjamin (Erin) Connors. Grandfather of Mullaney Louise. Brother of Joanne Marion, James Connors and the late Cathleen Connors. He was born December 6, 1946 in New York City to the late Joseph and Edna Connors.

He spent 53 years in the publishing industry starting out part time in the UPI mail room while in high school, then working at System Development Corporation, Philadelphia Newspapers Inc., Time, Inc. , Harcourt General, Thomson Learning and retiring as a Vice President at Cengage Learning. He then started a second career as a writer at Lead Cincinnati Magazine and Venue Magazine. John was in the Army Military Police, serving in the states during the Vietnam Era. While working full time, John earned his BA from Fordham University, New York. At the age of 51, he received his Executive MBA from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL. (Again, working full time.)

He enjoyed sailing and participated in many Hudson River and Long Island Sound races, sometimes crewing for others and sometimes captaining his own sailboat. John enjoyed painting with oils and pastels, loved cooking for others, and since moving to Cincinnati, could be found most Saturday mornings at Findlay Market, wearing his Fordham sailing sweatshirt.
