Steven Warren Stacy age 26 of the Davis Fork section of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at his home.

Born October 3, 1995, at Richlands, Virginia, he was the son of Darrell Stacy and Connie Sue Blankenship Stacy of Grundy, Virginia.

Steven loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting weeds. Steven was a 2014 graduate of Hurley High School, and he was known as a good Hurley High Football player. He had strong faith in the Heavenly Father above.

He was preceded in death by his late maternal grandparents, Ira and Gertrude Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Ezra and Della Stacy; and several uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Steven is also survived by one special friend he claimed as a brother,
Craig “Tesh” Stacy.

Funeral services for Steven Warren Stacy will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at the North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church, Coon Branch Road, Wolford, Virginia with Elders of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Justus Cemetery, Ellis Justus Road, Grundy, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening 6:00 P.M. at the church. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M. each evening.

Serving as pallbearers will be his football friends.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be uncles and cousins.
