David Lee Day, 94, of Akron, passed away July 23, 2022. He was born October 1, 1927 in Star City, West Virginia, the son of Benjamin and Gladys Day. David retired from Goodyear Aerospace, loved animals, and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Gladys; step-father Louis; brothers Edward, Arnett, Donald, and Eldon; and sisters Eileen and Doris. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
