Robert Edward Whitt
Robert Edward Whitt, 81, went to join our Lord on July 23, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. It was the culmination of a life lived for Christ. Bob was born August 21, 1940 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Alfred Whitt Sr. and Annabelle (Kaiser) Whitt. On August 14, 1965, he was united in marriage to Gloria Roberts, daughter of Tom and Dollie Roberts. They were blessed with two children, Penny Lorraine and Adam Edward, four grandchildren, Andrea (Brian) Pettit, Amanda (Justin) Howard, Craig Allen Tackett, GloryAnn Whitt and four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Rose Pettit, Brody Howard, Adalie Howard and Ainsley Howard. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, grandchild, Jonathan Samuel Whitt, four brothers, Walter, Glenn, Roger and Junior and a sister, JoAnn. When Bob found the Lord his life changed forever. He found his calling in teaching the Word and did for over 40 years as a member of Mt. Holy CCCU. He encouraged people to hang onto God and never let go. To shine and be an example to others. Bob impacted many people in his lifetime. He will be missed by all, especially his family. We must remain diligent lest we fail to enter that city. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio. Burial will in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
