<p>Katherine (Connie) Danforth Nutter died July 15th peacefully at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester with her beloved daughter at her side. Connie was born June 3, 1931 in Colchester Vermont the daughter of the late Harry J and Ella M (Lewis) Danforth.</p> <p>Connie was a graduate of Burlington High School, Class of 1949 and Champlain College in 1950. She married Clarence (Jim) Nutter on September 24, 1955. A life-long member of The First Baptist Church of Burlington, she served on various boards, committees and was past President of the American Baptist Women&rsquo;s Ministries. She worked in the secretarial field for many years including a twelve year employment with the Vermont Baptist State Convention. She enjoyed helping others, evident by her many hours of volunteer work at her church, University of Vermont Medical Center, Meals on Wheels and Vermont Respite House.</p> <p>She was predeceased by her husband Clarence (Jim) Nutter, her son- in- law George Gamache and her sister -in- law Sandra Buehring. She is survived by her daughter Beth Nutter Gamache, her brother Frederick ( Bud) Danforth, former sister- in- law Gerry Danforth, several nieces and nephews and her beloved grand-dog Teddy Gamache.</p> <p>For those who wish, contributions in her memory may be made to First Baptist Church, 81 St. Paul St, Burlington, Vt 05401 or the McClure Miller Respite House 3113 Roosevelt Hwy, Colchester, Vt 05446</p> <p>A service to celebrate Connie&rsquo;s life will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.</p>

Katherine (Connie) Danforth Nutter died July 15th peacefully at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester with her beloved daughter at her side. Connie was born June 3, 1931 in Colchester Vermont the daughter of the late Harry J and Ella M (Lewis) Danforth.
