Elaine Catherine Kralovetz Obituary

Elaine Catherine Kralovetz, 94, of Denmark, entered God’s kingdom on July 21, 2022, at a local hospital with family at her side. Born January 25, 1928, to the late Phillip and Pauline (Shimanek) Plansky in the town of Carlton, WI, Elaine was the fifth of six children. In 1937 the family moved to Denmark, where she graduated from Denmark High School in 1947. Elaine married the late Joseph Kralovetz on November 15, 1950. She worked at the Swoboda and Wellner Locker plant as a meat wrapper for nearly 40 years as the only employee outside of the family. Elaine was an amazing lady who enjoyed playing cards with friends at the Danish Villa, crocheting blankets, cheering for the Packers and Brewers, and bird watching from her window. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and always looked forward to their visits. She was a member and President of Denmark’s VFW Auxiliary Post #6705. Elaine was a woman of faith who radiated Jesus’ light and love. She was a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church and served on the Altar Society there. Elaine had the sweetest disposition, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a warm and welcoming smile that lit up a room. Elaine is survived by her children Joe, Carol Borkovec, Jeff (Kim), and Jerry (Deb); grandchildren Robin (Cassandra), Jason (Laura), Sarah (Sean) Murphy, Lisa, Tony, Nick (fiancé Tiffany), Mackenzie, Konnor (special friend Bella), Cory (Kiersten), Travis, and Leah (fiancé Nicholas); great grandchildren Lennon, Frances, Aiden, Jonah, Audrey, Jensen, Levi, Briggs, Reed, Reyah, and one baby boy arriving in September. Elaine is further survived by nieces and one cousin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, mother and father in-law; brothers and sisters-in-law Elroy and Eleanor, Gene and Jeann, and Philip and Lucille; sisters and brothers-in-law Mildred and Alvin Smith and Lorraine and Don Schlies; son-in-law Mike Borkovec, and great granddaughter Layla. The family would like to thank Bellin hospital 8th floor staff and Unity hospice for their outstanding and compassionate care. Visitation will take place Wednesday July 27, 2022, at All Saints Catholic Church (145 Claude St. Denmark) from 9:30am until 10:45am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Father Xavier Amirtham officiating, burial will take place in the church’s cemetery. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
