Brian D. Hutchins Sr.

Dateline-Kingston, NH Brian D. Hutchins Sr., age-42, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2022 in Kingston, NH. He was born October 5, 1979 in Haverhill, MA, son of Gloria (Whirley) Hammond, the late Albert G. Hutchins and his step-father who raised him Robert Hammond AKA-“Pop-Pop”. Brian grew up in Kingston, NH and was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High School. His professional career had been as a carpenter/independent contractor. Brian specialized in building decks and doing roof work in the seacoast area for many years. In 2014, he married his longtime friend of 30 years, Amanda Pierce and they remained in the Kingston area. In his youth, Brian played basketball and with his step-father helped coach basketball at the Y in Plaistow. Brian loved spending time with his family and friends socializing. The light of his life was his son. Brian will be remembered as a big kid at heart. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-brother-William Hammond. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Hutchins, son, Brian D. Hutchins Jr., mother, Gloria Hammond, brother, Joseph Whirley, brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Julia Hutchins, step-brother, David Hammond, step-brother, Gary Hammond, Uncle Fred, Aunt Barbie, Uncle Mike, Grammy Margie and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for his son’s future endeavors in education.
