<p>Long-time resident and businessman James (Jimmy) Melnyk passed away quietly at Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, B.C.</p> <p>James is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Josephine Melnyk and daughters Lori Ruck (Kelowna), Kari Streleoff (Lake Country), Jo-Ann Hedin (Revelstoke), Lyn Wagner (Lake Country), four grandsons and four great grandsons.</p> <p>For the past two years, we received amazing care from Interior Health, care aids, nursing staff and a special thank you to Dr. Kate McCarroll from dad: “I wish I could take you with me. I’m going to miss you!”</p> <p>In loving memory, a “Celebration of Life” will be held in honour of James Melnyk on September 17, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Senior’s Centre in Revelstoke, B.C.
