<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Lavina I. (Schaefer) Nagel was born on April 7, 1931 to Jacob John and Marie (Deutsch) Schaefer in White River, South Dakota.&nbsp; She attended Concordia High School from 1945-1951.&nbsp; Lavina taught school in Marcus, Iowa and Parmelee, South Dakota before marrying Cleon Nagel on October 18, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church in Valentine, Nebraska.&nbsp; Lavina and Cleon lived on a farm near Cordova, Nebraska until 1956 when they moved to a farm near Utica, Nebraska.&nbsp; They then moved to Seward in 1992.&nbsp; In addition to farming, Lavina worked at Pamida in Seward for many years.&nbsp; In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, community activities and volunteering opportunities. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, St. John LWL, Seward County Genealogical Society, GSE Extension Club and West Side Country Club.&nbsp; Lavina passed away on July&nbsp;21, 2022 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 14 days.&nbsp; She is survived by her children, Linda Tyrrell, Milford, Nebraska, Ronald Nagel, Wilsonville, Nebraska, Barry (Vicki) Nagel, St. Peters, Missouri, Lori (Tom) Colwell, Arvada, Colorado; son-in-law, Steve Krivda, Seward, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Justice, Jamie (Will) Gillette, Jennifer Tyrrell (fianc&eacute;, Kyle Peterson), Brandon Nagel, Jeremy (Amanda) Price, Tony Krivda, Sadie (Colin) Brisbane; 18 great grandchildren.&nbsp; Lavina was preceded in death by her husband, Cleon Nagel; parents, Jacob and Marie Schaefer; daughter, Deb Krivda; daughter-in-law, Kristine Nagel; son-in-law, Steve Tyrrell; grandson, Austin Krivda; brothers, Leonard Schaefer and Alvin Schaefer.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:22px;">MEMORIALS IN CARE OF ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN (P.O.
