There has been a Private Burial Service held in honor of Bill. Per his wishes, there was not a formal service held. William "Bill" Ernest Cummins was born January 13, 1935 to Orville and Evelyn Cummins in Cavalier, ND. He attended school in Cavalier and graduated in 1953. He went to Mayville State, where he earned an Education degree. Bill met Mary Jane Keena in Hamilton, ND where they were married and later divorced. Together they moved to Williston, ND, where Bill taught for 34 years. During this union, three children were born, Cy, Marlon "Ted" and Char. He also raised simmental cows for many years. A lot of great memories were had of farm life. He was preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife, and son Ted. He is survived by his son, Cy (Holly) of Williston and Char of Aberdeen, SD. His grandchildren Shane (Catherine) of North Carolina, Ginny (Geoff) of Faulkton, SD, Allen and Derrick (Katy) of Williston, and Will (Sara), Nicholas and Kelsey of Washington. His great-grandchildren Tate, Maddix, Reagan, Addy, Nora, Emma, Lenni, Aislynn, Evan and Weston. The Everson Coughlin Funeral Home is caring for the family.
