Ms. Katie Hill leaves to cherish her six children: Frankie (Rufus) Riley, Caseyville, IL, Daniel Sr., Cahokia Heights, II; Barbara (Allen) Echols, Belleville, IL; Bettie Stewart, Gilbert, S.C, Glenda (Richard) Drew, Baytown, TX; Thomas (Annette) Hill, Cahokia Heights, IL; one sister, Irene Shields Hunt, Preston, MS; three sisters-in-law, Lena Shields, East St. Louis, IL, Elizabeth Hunt, Shuqualak, MS; Dr. Velma Hill Jenkins, Shuqualak, MS, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, one special Godson Leon (Darrolyn) Sharp, Winston, Salen, NC; the entire village of South 53rd Street. A special thanks to Charles Chapman (Mom loved the funyuns, Pepsis, and regular check-ins) and two very special caregivers, Erica Brooks and Markia Dotson, who became like family.
