Lois Roberts

Hampton, NH Lois Ann (Shaw) Roberts of Hampton, NH passed away on July 14, 2022. She was the widow of Edgar A. Roberts. Lois and Edgar made their home in Kensington, NH for nearly 50 years and after his passing she returned to Hampton. Born in 1933 to the late Clarence E. and Elizabeth J. (Tilton) Shaw of Hampton, she was a graduate of Hampton Academy, class of 1951. After graduation, she was first employed by the Allied New Hampshire Gas Company and then by Exeter and Hampton Electric Company (Unitil) as a bookkeeping supervisor retiring in 1988. She is survived by her sisters, Carol (Mrs. Norman) Freeman of East Kingston, NH and Diane Shaw of Hampton as well as a nephew and niece, Norman Freeman Jr. and Norma Moreau; great niece and great nephew, Jessica Pool and Peter Freeman and great-great niece and great-great nephew, Addison and Mason Pool as well as many cousins. Graveside services will be held on July 23, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the family lot in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton, NH. Brewitt Funeral Home of Exeter, NH is in charge of arrangements. I knew Lois and Edgar when they were residents of Kensington, and remember how proud they both were of their home and its surroundings. May she rest in the peace she so deserves.
