<p>Verna May Abramson passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, with her family by her side.&nbsp; A Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home on Monday morning, July 18th at 11:00 a.m.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.</p> <p>Verna was born on January 4, 1924, in Revelstoke, B.C. and lived most of her life here.&nbsp; She was a devoted lifelong member of the Anglican Church.&nbsp; She was a long-standing member of the Senior Citizens&rsquo; Association, and the Moose Lodge.&nbsp; Verna was also very active with many community groups and associations.&nbsp; She was a devoted giver.</p> <p>Verna was predeceased by her father James McMahon, mother Nettie McMahon, husband Arnold (Abe), son Danny and brother Melvin Boyd (Mickey).&nbsp; She is survived by two children: Amandah Tanner (David Plume) of Coquitlam and Melvin Abramson of Saskatchewan; daughter-in-law Cheryl Schier of Vernon; four grandchildren: Belinda, Sydney, Jenita and Madison; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law Lornita McMahon of Kelowna as well as numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Verna May Abramson passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, with her family by her side.  A Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home on Monday morning, July 18th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.
