Michael Theodore "Big Mike" Robbins
<p>Michael Theodore “Big Mike” Robbins, 55, of Butlerville, passed away at Majestic Care of Connersville on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1:45 a.m.</p> <p> </p> <p>Born March 9, 1967, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Ronald and Norma (Thompson) Robbins. He married Sandra (Marksberry) Robbins on February 4, 2003, in Vernon; she survives.</p> <p> </p> <p>Michael graduated from Jennings County High School in 1985 and worked for Ron’s Stump Removal in North Vernon. He enjoyed walking in the woods, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Surviving with his wife is his son, Ryan Marksberry of North Vernon; brothers, Randall (Linda) Robbins of North Vernon and Ronald Eugene (Betty) Robbins of Columbus; sisters, Tonjua Pearson and Cathy (Ralph) Foster, both of North Vernon; grandson, Zachary Marksberry of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p> </p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ricky Robbins.</p> <p> </p> <p>A funeral service for Michael will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Scipio Cemetery in Scipio.</p> <p> </p> <p>Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home in Michael’s honor to help with expenses.</p> <p> </p>March 9, 1967 - July 14, 202203/09/196707/14/2022
