Biagio “Bill” William Salera, 69 of Stuart, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Hospice House of Stuart. He had a hard road battling Parkinson’s Disease, which finally called him to Heaven. Biagio “Bill” was born July 23, 1952 in Providence, Rhode Island to Luigi Salera and Antonetta (Fuoco) Salera who preceded him in death. He grew up with his older brother, Louis Salera of Johnston, Rhode Island. As a teen, he loved to play basketball and socialize with all his friends. Everybody loved him! As he got older, he studied business. This sparked his passion for being a business owner. He was the proud owner of Sammy J’s, a local diner in Stuart, for over 15 years. Biagio “Bill” was a devoted father and loving friend. He was passionate about his daughters. He attended all of their basketball games, cheering them on from the stands. He always made sure they were taken care of. He spoiled his girls. He was a very giving man not only to his family, but his friends and the community. Biagio “Bill” is survived by his beloved daughters Kaylie (Salera) Lymon and Jessica Salera. Former spouse and mother to their two children Brenda (Sayles) Salera. Granddaughter McKenzie Lymon. Son in Law Michael Lymon. Brother Louis Salera and his wife Carol Salera and their two sons Jamie Salera and Louis Salera. As well as, many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and so many friends. Biagio “Bill” will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: The Hospice House of Stuart, Florida and The Parkinson’s Foundation of Florida.
