<p> </p> <p>Robert Lawrence Demers of Drumheller beloved partner-common law passed away peacefully after lengthy illness on July 2, 2022 at the age of 67 years.</p> <p>Robert was born in Red Deer to Don and Iris. Over his lifetime he worked at BDL Brewers Distributors, contractor for the City of Calgary Water Works as a gravel truck driver for ten years. Collectively he drove truck for 49 years. He loved playing poker and working with electronics, watching his movies, his programs NCIS, Hogan’s Heros and youtube. He loved his vacations in Palm Springs. He will me missed by his loving family.</p> <p>Robert leaves to cherish his memory, common law partner Karla Yaworski, daughter Kim, son JD, grandchildren Bowie, Georgia and Madison, one brother Allan, and his best friend Bent Larson.</p> <p>Robert was predeceased by his parents Don and Iris.</p> <p>There will not be any formal funeral, those wishing to donate in Robert’s memory may do so to the Alberta Lung Association.
