Ringling - Mr. Gerald DeWayne "Mac" McEntire (Heavy on the mister), of Kansas, OK departed this life on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Bakersfield, CA at the age of 62 years. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Interment will follow in the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, OK. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.<br>Mr. McEntire was born in Odessa, TX on December 30, 1959 to the late Cleatis Gerald McEntire and Mrs. Wanda Sue (Higdon) McEntire. He graduated from Brazowood High School in Clute, TX. After graduating High School, he worked with his dad as a helper that turned into his career as a pipefitter, superintendent, and project manager for many construction companies, traveling to a lot of places such as Wyoming, Louisiana, New Mexico, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Texas, Illinois, Nevada, and California. He followed in his dad's footsteps.  He later purchased land in Kansas, OK near his daughter Sam to be close to Sam, Craig, and the grandkids. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, he was always smiling and had a big soft heart. He enjoyed life to the fullest, never met a stranger, always ready for his next adventure. He always asked, "Has anyone told you they loved you today?"<br>He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Clayton in 1995.<br>Mac is survived by his children, Samantha and husband Craig Huffman and grandchildren, Coby, Alyssa, Carson, and Austyn of Locust Grove, OK;  Logan Lee McEntire of Hamilton, TX; Cleatis "Mac" McEntire II and wife Kandace McEntire and their three children; Rita McEntire; sister, Donnie Sue Glenn and husband (Spanky) of Ringling; brother, Ronnie McEntire and wife Vera of Angleton; Uncle John and Aunt Jean Higdon of Ringling; several nieces, nephews, cousins, co workers, other relatives and a host of  friends.<br>Pallbearers are Greg West, Spanky Glenn, Logan McEntire, Ronnie McEntire, Craig Huffman and Coby Crisp.<br>Honorary Bearers Joe Ben Lester, Butch Wilson, Uncle John Higdon and Wayne Houck. <br>Online condolences can be made at alexanderfuneralhome.org<br>Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.<br>Condolences may be sent online at www.alexanderfuneralhome.org<br><br><iframe class="ts_player" allowfullscreen="true" allowtransparency="true" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" frameborder="0" height="330" scrolling="no" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/3W3ND8MLMKNZNTMK" width="512"></iframe>

Ringling - Mr. Gerald DeWayne "Mac" McEntire (Heavy on the mister), of Kansas, OK departed this life on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Bakersfield, CA at the age of 62 years.
