Dennis Belanger

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 13th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin for Dennis Belanger, age 83, who passed away Friday, July 8th, surrounded by his loved ones. Dennis was born on November 1st, 1938 in Franklin, Louisiana to Celestin and Viola Belanger. He was a life long resident of St.Mary parish. Dennis was a very kindhearted man who loved helping people, he was the type of person who would give you the shirt off of his back. He also loved animals, but most of all his dog Chico and the many stray cats that he would put food out for everyday. Above everything he most enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who could never be replaced. He will be dearly missed. Dennis is survived by his loving daughter, Denise Belanger and her companion Ves Mashburn; his two sons, Ricky Alleman and his companion Deirdre Satathite, Wilbur Alleman and his wife Lea Alleman; his grandchildren, Heidi LeBourgeois, Kerry and Kasey Alleman; his great-grandchildren, Camden and Tanner LeBourgeois, Elijah Alleman; his sister, Kitty Landry and her son John Estelle; his special friend, Sherry Bradley; along with a host of extended family and friends whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Celestin and Viola Belanger; his sister, Peggy Belanger; his brothers, Pomey and Robert Belanger; his former wife, Violet Belanger; his grandchild, Korey Alleman.
