Joyce Nichols, 72, of Paducah, passed away July 8, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital.

Joyce loved riding around her hometown of Paducah. She loved being downtown and on the riverfront enjoying the scenery. Joyce loved her family dearly; her children and grandchildren were her pride and joys. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Freddie Nichols; one son, Robert Nichols; one sister, Sharon (Glen) Woodford; nine grandchildren, Robert Louis Nichols, Wesley Lynn Nichols, Alexandria Lynn Elliot, Sidney Michell Nichols, William Mason Nichols, Jaslyn Scarborough, Kaylyn Scarborough, Whitney Kaletch, and Hillary Cobb; three great-grandchildren, Maverick, Cleatus, and Brayley; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Joyce in death is one son, Kevin Nichols; her parents, Troy and Minnie Heflin; and five siblings, Sue Taylor, Nellie Henderson, Kay Myers, Ermil McLeod, and Janie Helfin.

Per Joyce’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be scheduled.
