Edward J. Kelly, Jr., 75, of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022.<br><br>Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA to Anna and Edward J. Kelly, Sr. on October 24, 1946. He went to Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, PA where he graduated in 1964. He went on to Drexel University and the Philadelphia Wireless Technical Institute. Ed was a dedicated patriot who worked as an Intelligence Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency for over 38 years. In recognition of his exemplary service, extensive sacrifices, and significant contributions to the Agency’s mission, he received numerous career achievement and honorable service awards. Ed was a prolific reader, loved a good joke, was always on the hunt for a winning lottery ticket, and enjoyed watching the sunset along the Nanticoke River. <br><br>Ed will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Carla (Gloser) Kelly; beloved son Tyler (Lisa) Kelly of Herndon, VA; twin sister Lorraine (Ron) Saracini of Manahawkin, NJ; and nieces Heather, Shannon, and Michele. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Edward, and niece Ashley.<br><br>A memorial service will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home on July 16, 2022 at 11 a.m.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html
